Signing up as ship captain for a lone 10-year space exploration mission sounded like the quiet life Selene had always dreamed of. Until the asteroid arrives that crashes through her dreams and half her ship. She manages to escape on an emergency pod, but the malfunctioning pod crash lands before she can chart her way home.
