Lightning McQueen has hated Jackson Storm since he became the new rookie. McQueen's surprise return to racing fuels an angry fire under Storm, who is hungry for redemption after losing to Rust-eze. However, their rivalry takes a turn when the two professional drivers are given the opportunity of a lifetime; they are asked to represent the United States of America in the International Round-Racers Competition, a contest where racers from all countries- and of all vehicles- are collected to participate in a race across the globe. With promises of money and more fame than ever before, they accept the invite.

However, this race is unlike anything they've ever encountered before. The two enemies must work together to defeat their competition and survive the dangerous, thrill-seeking challenges. Will they be able to come together as a team, or will they crash and burn along the road?

Filled with dramatics and (hopefully) too well written to be a fanfiction about a Pixar movie...let the games begin.
