"We all get addicted to something that takes the pain away."
With an abusive prostitute as a mother and an alcoholic as a father, Tess decides she's finally had enough. She packs her bags and heads out the door, vowing to never come back. She believed she could run away from her troubles, but she soon finds out that running only makes it worse.
She falls into the hands of drugs and self-harm and she feels she can't escape. Every time she thinks she's finally gotten away from it, it just comes back twice as strong.
She seeks help, but will anybody really be able to help her?

TW- this story contains SH, addiction, SA, suicide etc. this was the first book i had ever written and it is not edited yet but will be, there will be changes to chapters in the future. A 15 year old girl is being bullied and abused, her life is a living hell. to ease the pain she slices her arms in hopes that it would help, alas it had only made it worse. as the weight of the world became heavier upon her shoulders, her thoughts tell her she is no good. Then one day she cuts to deep that sends her to the hospital, where a nurse takes her in. She soon finds love, hardship & gets pregnant then she is finally happy. But is she really here... I like inflicting pain. Not on others but on myself. Some people would call me depressed but I'm not. If anything the pain makes me happy. I started "self harming" at the mere age of nine.
