Poetry Of a Convoluted Mind
This is a small collection of poems that I have compiled over the years starting at age 15 stemming from my own personal experiences and observations of the world around me. I am hoping in the future for this to become a book. Before She Even Knows
''There is only one thing crossing my mind right now. If he hates me so much, then why the hell is he kissing me back?'' ----------------------- Emma White has always been kind of a loner. Her mother died giving birth to her and her father never really cared, always working in his successful company. That's why she decides to go to a college away from home, something she's been dreaming of since she can remember. However, what happens when at her very first day on campus, she crosses path with Noah Allen? He is rich, popular, cold, rude and a player just to start with. No surprise she calls him Mr. Grumpy. What is driving her insane though is that he's only too cold when it comes to her. After some not so pleasant moments and lots of glares, she tells herself that the best is to stay away from him, but it won't be that easy. After a disastrous kiss and hidden jealousy, she finds herself deeply involved into what is this frustrating boy. Add to that the fact that he is her roommates' childhood best friend and you can see drama from miles away. Noah claims to hate her ever since they met, and he doesn't mean her first day of college. He remembers her just fine from a couple of years ago and all the feelings are back. He knows she doesn't remember him and he'll use this as his leverage to do what he has to do. It's what he promised his father and himself, even if it means he has to pretend to care for her. All he cares is his family business. At least it's what he tells himself, until the feelings start getting too mixed and he ends up thinking of her more than he should. Maybe it's not all about business after all. He knows their history started before she even knows, what he didn't expect was for her to be so different from what he has always believed.Concluída

It's Okay to Use Your Big Girl Voice
Inside you will find a mixture of both, extremely RAW and refreshingly HEALING accounts of my personal war with my past. Unfortunately, Childhood sexual abuse is far too common, and many of share similar experiences. Looking back, what I could have used more than anything was someone to tell me "You're not alone, there is a lightness through the darkness, you can heal from this and most importantly don't EVER stop telling your story to make others comfortable". I've learned that silence is the best weapon for a predator, and I for one, have never been really good at doing what I'm told. I don't intend on starting now. I wear my scar as reminder that I hold the power in my own story, it is mine to tell and I won't make myself sick keeping quiet because my truths are hard to swallow, other people's comfort is not my problem. My Goal is rather simple, to let the readers know, they too are not alone. If you are a survivor, even if you still feel like a victim, this is my personal message to you. "You are strong, and it wasn't your fault. Tell someone... tell anyone...tell everyone... We shift from victims to survivors when we speak up and tell our stories. There's nothing wrong with you, and the light will shine again. The longer you sit in silence the more power your abuser still holds over you, wipe your face warrior, because there's a lion right inside of you, DONT EVER GIVE UP!" *This story is FULL of TRIGGERS, please be careful reading if triggers are hard for you, your mental health matters* *I own all the Rights to all parts of this book*

As we become older, we realize that the wounds we show our parents are the ones that heal quickly because some wounds never completely heal.
