For most, magic is an illusion, used for the entertainment of children and young adults. Psychics are scam artist trying to use a combination of hope and deception to lure desperate or curios souls to give them their money. However for 11-year old Thomas Gail, magic was as real to him as the air he breathed. As he is bullied, and made fun of for everything from his imagination, to his last name, something is in the works. Something he knows nothing of, and yet it will change his life forever. Darkness lies ahead of him, but with it comes new hopes, new friends, and new foes. An epic and dangerous adventure awaits him, but it won't be as pleasant as he dreamed. Thomas is about to find out, that he is one of the lost, and he is not alone.All Rights Reserved

As David's eyes went from me, to Verity, filled with concern. David looked over my head at Verity while he was holding my hands in his. I heard the crowd gasp, before everyone started to whisper. David dropped my hands. The whispers increased in intensity. Making the room sound like it was full of hissing snakes. David's attention wasn't anywhere near me. I looked up to see him looking over my head at my brother. With a look I had thought he had saved just for me, my heart breaking as my fairy tale became a nightmare. Part 2 also complete July 2023.

The school is just for magical creatures to learn more about themselves and their history. It was made over three hundred years ago and still run by a fairy named Cassiopea and her daughter Cassia. Arion is excited to go because his parents refuse to teach him anything about other magical creatures other than dark magic. They believe it is irrelevant for him to know because they think he will take over the world one day. And why should a leader know anything about his subjects? Arion convinces his parents that if he goes to the school he can do recon on the other magical people so he can learn about them and make it easier for him to take over. With no friends, no siblings, and a very negative outlook on life, he heads to Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted.
