Iris Farrow could still remember the days where she and her best friend would run around Tottenham as if they owned it themselves. They bonded over being called rather unusual children. She could also still remember the day that best friend left to live a new married life. Just as clearly, she also remembers the day the news spread like wildfire of her friend death.

Now what has felt like a lifetime later, Iris works in the town's laundry house. It keeps her busy and she gets first person accounts for all the small town's gossip, how could she complain?

The gossip in a small town usually contained rumors of who stole what and from who, but on one particular day there was one gossip story that contained a lot more interest to it.

Nell Jackson was alive.

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
