Vlad Jennings, a 19 year old man who has become heartless from his childhood, wakes up one day to find out that his town been invaded by foreign soldiers. At first he doesn't care about the soldiers and see's it as an opportunity to let out his anger. But as he walks about he see's children being set up for execution and can't take the sight of it. Both families are falling apart and when Liam decides to go away with Jamie's family to see Emma, Jamie's traumatized younger sister; Aiden scrapes up his courage and offers to keep an eye on Jamie. They start growing close again and soon things starts to get really complicated.
