Together, the two of you face discrimination against society and learn how to rely on each other for moral support, even if it meant either falling inlove with one another, and/or heavily destroying your "independent" practices, which is(was) something you prioritize.

You move to Inazuma City from Konda Village to possibly prove your family wrong about being unable to live independently due to entering society with a "useless occupation". After a benefiting reunion with Yoimiya and stopping by Chinju Forest to paint, the infamous Arataki whom seems to be at awe at what you drew, had subconsciously proven YOU wrong about putting on a tough exterior to face your problems as your story goes on with him as your muse-slash-semi-apprentice, dragging his reputation along with you.
