PROLOGUE:
I am Nakshatra Anand and like my name I always have been a star student. Academic validation came naturally to me or that was people thought but when you had to survive in a school like st.anthonys you had to be that way. Born to a mathematician and investment banker perfection was never an option to me it was inevitable.
Staying on top was a need not a want so when the all-perfect star athlete and top student Gabriel d'souza transferred at the beginning of grade nine, being at loggerheads was inevitable because perfection is a one time thing and it had been already achieved.
This is a story of academic rivals to lovers my favourite trope in the planet and about the lives of these seemingly gifted but truly burntout kids.
