Follows 16-year-old Maxwell Forets (FUH-RITZ) a transmasculine resident of Sandwell, Southern England. His home somewhat run down, dead coastal tourist attractions, the crime rate steadily climbing since those who were lost in the snap had returned. His father and mother work for the same company, and have been offered a job in New York. Max is eager to leave, but has to last 3 more months in his shit hole hometown. When some suspicious activity occurs amidst an abandoned fairground, Max finds himself caught up in something that will change his life for good.
