Since the victory against Destoroyah and the establishment of a most fragile peace, Elsa and Godzilla strived to continue to maintain the natural balance of the surface while facing human contempt and incomprehension. Meanwhile, Kong remained in his territory of the Hollow Earth and Jia tried, as best she could, to lead a more or less normal life. But once again, the guardians find themselves in great danger when an ancestral threat resurfaces in the bowels of the Hollow Earth and that this new war will lead them to discover a most buried past which could call into question the very origins of the titans.
