"Eyewitnesses reported that Chat Noir, the infamous international thief, was spotted outside the home of MI6 director, Furgeus McKinely last night. Though the thief made off with over a hundred thousand pounds worth of jewelry, the British Government is more concerned with the national security risk this poses. A representative from MI6 was quick to make a statement assuring us that no classified information was taken, but they could perhaps be covering the truth to avoid public panic. Other witnesses near Waterloo station also reported they saw Chat Noir being chased by a figure in red that many in the media are calling: the Ladybug. What took place afterwards is only left for speculation as neither figure has made an appearance since. No other statements have been issued, but the fearful revelation remains: the Monarch organization can penetrate even the most secure intelligence agencies."

The bartender silences the TV playing Nadja Chamack's report, leaving the two sitting at the bar with nothing to distract them from their personal grief.

The dark-haired woman in the navy dress stirs her drink around, ignoring the pain of today's anniversary, "Sounds like that Chat Noir got away again."

The ears of the blonde sitting next to her perk up. He snorts and lifts his own glass to take a sip, "Maybe. Though I'm sure that Ladybug is gonna catch him soon."

The woman, also known as Marinette, glances at the stranger with a sly smile, "What makes you say that?"

Adrien returns her glance, taking in her beauty with a catlike grin, "Because she's better than him."
