This day, day five thousand-five hundred and sixty-five, is just like the day before, and just like how the day will be after. Five thousand five hundred and sixty-five days since my father joined the Authority. I am stuck in a continuous time loop, using up all of my time to protect something that I do not care for.
And I'm going to keep doing it, no matter what the day is. I owe my mother just that much.

Ramona Dominion is living in a time after ours, into the far future. The sun has made the surface unstable to live on, so everybody has to reside underground. Her father runs the Alliance, a government group controlling the chaos that had saved everyone that fateful day.
