I loved this book; I could find no fault with it, no low points, no extraneous material and certainly, no boring passages or ramblings. Mr. Collins is clearly at the top of his storytelling game. Also, I was pleased to see the term "Inspired by True Events" on the cover. As Mr. Collins mentioned, there was little accurate information to be found about this account, and of course, there were no survivors. Much if not all of the dialogue had to be invented as well as the backstories of the crew and passengers, making this what I call "fictionalized history" (as opposed to historical fiction in which a story occurs at a particular time in history). If you like your history straight up, recounting only the available recorded facts, then Mr. Collins' books may not be for you, and in this case, there is not much to relate since the historical evidence is scanty. (It is not even known where all the bodies were buried.) However, I am comfortable with it as long as I know upfront that this is the approach the author is going to take.

!PLEASE READ BEFOREHAND! I'd like to note that I'm not proud of everything I wrote in this book, I wrote this as a mid-teen while my hypersexual behavioral problems were still very present and I wasn't educated on various things. The few 6, 7-ish chapters were me figuring out my writing and therefore bad in quality, while some others were written in a state of mind that didn't do the contents any good. Highest ranked- #10 in action 2/16/2017 A promotion. That's all I wanted. I didn't want to run for my life. I didn't want to be kidnapped. I didn't want to face death. I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.Complete

Prehistoric Planet II: We're Past It
That's right it's gotten a sequel. When I was re-reading the first one, I thought to myself "this is awful" from the names to the plot to the everything about it was just meh. So instead of recreating the whole thing I decided to build of of it instead! You are unfortunately going to have to read the first one to understand this, I am truly sorry. Greg, Jordan, and Jodie return to the island as well as a few other people (albeit after some bribing from Tony) all in a search party to find T.J Once they've returned to the island they realised that things obviously aren't right, the place was meant to be a herbivorous Dino wonderland after the events of the first book, but instead they're greeted with a Tropeagnathus atop of the jet they're aboard, and it topples the plane into the treetops. After this, everyone realises they're stranded, and have to, well, survive. But a certain crocodillian-like theropod threats to deplete their chances as well as several rough encounters with many other dinosaurs. How many will survive? Well you'll have to read to find out. Everyone in town knows about the sea monster. Every night, he goes into town to find his prey. He lures them in with his voice, only to bring them back to the ocean, to eat them. Few survive this, and the people who do, they lose their mind, like they were cursed. You can only gather from them that he was beautiful, his voice was like an angel's, and that when he took you into the ocean, he became a monster. He only hunted young men, women, teens, and the occasional twelve-year old. It was terrifying, because the people had no way to stop him. Every night, someone would go missing, or come back insane. They knew he lived in the ocean, and when people tried to bomb the area where they thought the monster lived, they would either be cursed, or just eaten by the sea monster himself. And the people who came back insane, they would always wander over the fact that the monster had not even a scratch on him. Teens, young men and women would fear for their lives, and lock themselves in their houses at night. But only one person refused to hide, either in bravery or utter stupidity. That person was Will Solace. So basically, this story is based on the cover art of the book. I just thought it was such a great idea and wanted to put it to story. I saw another person do this and they used the same cover art, and I hope you guys like my version! I, personally very much like it and hope you guys do to! WARNING: I will sadly not follow the cannon material as much as someone would like, don't get me wrong, I love the cannon material with my heart but making an AU is all about putting the character is a new setting. Right? Plus. This is a South Park fanfiction, most of these characters are made by Matt Stone and Trey Parker. I will mention, if something belongs to me. This is going to be my darkest fanfiction yet and I made a horror story, so, take that as you will. Oh, I was supposed to tell about the plot (I'm trying not to do anything that copies others but the subject has been talked about many times, so, that might happen... I am sorry, if it does.) A team of guards get send to live in the living conditions with the new animals. And it's their choice to do the right thing, whichever that might be. It's their question to answer. She had changed a week ago and found that she was afraid of herself. In this tail of romance and adventure Electra learns to love who she is, try to find her family, becomes a rogue among other were-panthers, and finds herself falling for an alpha. Not only that, she is being hunted down by her so called step father and his pack. She also finds herself in a predicament that she will never be able to get herself out of. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- This book is pretty short but it was worth it.Complete
