Winter is here and many of us are in Lake Tahoe enjoying the weather. We all see the love Avery has for my ex wife. The same goes for June with Aspen. Avery and Lisa had won a a ten day trip to Colorado for the Christmas decorations. June and Aspen won ten grand. Maura and I won third place. Our decorations theme this year was the characters from Star Wars in memory of Maura's step brother Carlo. Many people thought we would win. Avery and Lisa has the same theme. They had rented from the motion pictures R2D2 who actually welcomed everyone to Christmas day. They donated all their winnings to build a home for habitat humanity. It was for a veteran family who lost their home in a fire. They had insurance but it didnt cover everything. June and Aspen theme was Star Trek. They had won a trip to Greece. The models that was built for their ship was amazing. MAURA and I knew we wouldn't win. We won ten grand and donated the money to help offset the cost of supplies for the veteran and his family home. Everyone donated monies so it could be fully furnished and vmbe safe for them even in bad weather. Avery and Lisa returned from Greece and immediately met us in Lake Tahoe in Lisa's red suv.
