Jess was not a regular teenager. She stood out from all the others for one reason.
Her mom has cancer. Everyone deals with a loved one hurting in a different way, but Jess refuses to let her feelings inside, and she refuses to let others into her heart also. And to make matters more complicated she's more interested in boys and parties to realize her life is slowly slipping away from her. Liking him was the biggest mistake she had ever made.But she couldn't stay away. But what happens when she finds out a secret about herself that could lead to hearts broken, tears spilled, and a not so happily ever after. Can she ever really learn to let people in? Or will she find out that if she doesn't she could drag herself into a hole she never even thought existed.
