Cid Kamijou was originally just a normal, quiet and apathetic looking teenage boy who didn't do much with his free time except play games like the Persona Series.

After being caught in an explosion in his apartment, Cid suddenly finds himself in one of the floors of Tartarus in Persona 3 during the Dark Hour.

It was here when he was about to be attacked by a Shadow, that he suddenly hears the voice of Igor and awakens to the power of his other self.
