"... So maybe I did do it!" he mumbled, looking aimlessly at the ground. "Do what? Jumped us away in time?" "Wha...? How did you know I was going to say that?" "Well, first of all, last night you had this bright light around you, and then, the the next thing I knew, we wound up here. Then, while you were passed out, I looked a bit around. And by all indications, this is the exact same place we were at when we crashed. It just looks different: no asphalt roads, no city lights, no cell phone signal. And third, I just saw a ship at sea, which looked like the damn Mayflower! So I figured it can only mean one thing: we are in the past!" ************************************************ As they are about to experience a fatal car crash, LA surgeon Diego Perez and his wife Louise get sent back in time to the 19th century. It turns out that Diego has the ability to time-travel, and though he can not fully control it, this is not his first time doing it. The two get sent to the timeline of Diego's youth, three months after his mysterious disappearance when he was twenty years old. Now, at a much more mature age, but with a still youthful appearance, he is forced to take things up where he left them, with an upcoming wedding to his pregnant fiancée and much unresolved business as the town protector, Zorro. But he has his modern-day wife with him, who has her own connections to this place and time, and things get more complicated by the day. Will he be able to figure out how to get his wife back home? Will their love endure the test of the time travel? Will they manage to navigate the rough waters of their existence in the 19th century? Word Count approx. 86000. Warning: mature content and mature language Disclaimer: Very loosely based on original characters in Zorro by Johnston McCulley, the one by Isabel Allende and Kaiketsu Zorro. One Scottish Lass A Regency Time Travel Romance Novella by lisasheaauthor

Samhain. All Hallows' Eve. The most mystical night of the year. The time when the veil between the worlds became perilously thin. And with a full moon overhead, this awesome power reaches its climactic height. Sorcha had no time for mystical nonsense - there were enough challenges in navigating the mine-field of her mother's vicious temper and the most important event of her young life. For, at long last, she had left Edinburgh to see the world. She and her mother were visiting the elegant city of Bath. Sorcha was wearing the finest dress she'd seen - and she was stepping into a life she'd only dreamt of. But when Johnny's eyes meet hers, and jealous rivals vow revenge, that delicate layer between what is and what once was rips. It shreds like the fragile thread of one's life. One Scottish Lass is the first novella in the regency time travel romance trilogy. It is 116 pages / 18,000 words. The second novella in the series is A Time Apart. The first two novellas end in cliffhangers, while the third provides a happy ending. The series then will continue in another trilogy - those will be coming out over the coming weeks. These stories are teen-friendly with no explicit language, violence, or intimacy. All proceeds benefit battered women's shelters. Note that for those who prefer reading books in all-in-one form, each trio of novellas will also be compiled as a completed box set once all three are done. It just means you have to be patient and wait for me to finish writing all of them :). For those who prefer to read along as I write, and offer suggestions for me to shape the plot, these novellas are here for your enjoyment! Either way, I'd love to hear your feedback on the storyline and characters.

Spin-off of Open Heart, the sensation which has won over everyone brings you the story of the hero the world wants to hear. Everything was normal for Dr. Ethan Ramsey, as normal as he had wished since he had left the other side of him behind and soughed a new life. He had the name, the fame, the reputation and the ambition. The world knew who he was...or did it? It wasn't until Charlotte Turner walked into his life and everything he had believed and lived changed. Changed which dragged his past to himself again. Interns like her weren't supposed to exist, not supposed to carry the same desire he fought for, the same mysteries he wanted to conquer. At first, she was a pain, a torment to witness and a calamity to reckon. It wasn't until his mentor's life was on line and he was forced to work with Charlotte that made him realise how wrong he was and has been to her. To his darkness under the surface, she was the light which accepted him, open arms. And her goodness was like a drug to which the addiction was a defiant. But she too like him carried something within, something which kept dragging her into the spiral of destruction until the right was wrong. And when the very place he worked was not as it was seen, with his morales and ethics on question not to mention how complicated his relationship with Charlotte was becoming, Ethan had least expected in the end for his past to show up again and destroy everything he ran away from-including himself. ---Novelization of Pixelberry's story(And my own)--- Series:- Book 1- Open Heart Book 1.5- Ethan Book 2- Open Heart: Second Year
