Fate, is it written for you or do you write it yourself?

Leonardo has been gone for eighteen months now, training in japan under Master Splinter's orders, he was suppose to come back home six months ago, he stopped writing two months ago, his brothers had given up hope of him ever returning home, believing him to be dead.
So when their beloved elder brother enters the lair after eighteen months of living in Japan, their excitement turns to confusion when they realize he isn't alone.
