After his death by Sentinel Prime, Ironhide was reborn as a human without any memory of his past. But his life as a human wasn't a happy one. He was abused and neglected by his so-called family, The Rose/Xiao Long/Branwen family. after the daily beating he suffered from, it was taken too far as Summer nearly shot his eye out. Luckily, his eye wasn't damaged. he rushed to his room, ignoring the calls of his family, and he let his anger out. He slipped and hit his head on the hard tiled floor, and the memories of his past started to flood into his head. So he decided to run away by using his Cybertronian transformation and transform into his alt mode after packing a little stuff he had. 

what will happen to our stubborn and toughest protagonist when he goes to Beacon? Will his family try to earn his forgiveness, or will (Y/N) Rose or Ironhide not give them a chance?

Due to Qrows' semblance and a messy end to they're relationship, He was mostly absent but he did try to be there for the children when he could. But everything soon went down hill when Summer disappeared. The children where heartbroken but Tai, saddened and enraged at Summers disappearance began to take his frustrations out on the children. Y/N would try to make the most of it, and protect Yang and Ruby from Tais' wrath, often times taking a beating and going without food for days. As time went on Tai got increasingly worse, and Y/N became the sole target of abuse. Yang and Ruby would try to help as best they could but it wasn't enough, Y/N could bare it no more. Y/N attempted to contact Qrow and reveal the conditions and fear they lived in, But Tai got him first. Beaten bloodied, Y/N would take a moment to recover and escape with his sisters....
