Thorne has spent her whole life avoiding the city. She hates it - the people, the noises, but especially the School. The School that tried to take her when she was young. The School that her Grandmother died to protect her from. The threat of war is growing again, though. The School wants Thorne - more specifically, they want her powers. But Thorne does not forget, nor does she forgive. And she won't be happy until she sees the School destroyed. (This is a work in progress - a first draft.
