"How am I going to know if you're going to kidnap me or not?" she asked.

"I'd rather not kidnap you, even if I could." I said,

"Why are you staring at me? Creep."

"Cause you're so beautiful, princess. I couldn't keep my eyes off you," I said sarcastically, rolling my eyes.

"I know you lied to me. Why?" It all just seemed to come out on its own. I thought she would call me something, maybe to even avoid this conversation, but she was speechless for a second, and I regretted even coming up to her. When she finally seemed to catch her words again, she said.

" I.. um. I was just working on something. And um....it's uh. Complicated...I don't think you'd understand, " she said, now looking a bit uncomfortable, I hated seeing her like this, but I just couldn't, I had to know why she lied to me.

"Why don't you tell me, and I'll see for myself if I don't?" she looked up at me, and her eyes were glossy. shit, was she going to cry. After seeing her, I wished I could take back time and not push her into saying anything. But as soon as I opened my mouth she said....
