The "Newsies of Lower Manhattan" are a recently formed band, and vocalist Jack Kelly has become extremely passionate about it, convinced he can maybe finally achieve his dreams of being a real artist and musician. However when his girlfriend and their lead guitarist Katherine breaks up with him and leaves the band, he feels like everything is crushed.
That is until at a local club he meets David Jacobs, an awkward (but very hot) guy with a beautiful voice.
