Her parents thought it was a phase, but when she turned twelve and still hadn't grown out of talking to the forest behind their house, she was sent to a psychologist. Her parents soon grew afraid of her as the trees began growing through the window of her bedroom. Maybe there is something more to Tessa than they anticipated.
