A girl named Bella who recently moved to New York after her sudden father's death.  All her life she's been kept in the dark about what her papá was , who he worked for. 

A man named Lorenzo. His presence is shrouded in darkness, and he possesses a chilling lack of empathy for human life. 

The couple have came across each other multiple times. This occurrence wasn't one of mistake , at least not on Bella's behalf. She had a run in with a few dangerous men , him included. This gave her an inkling of who her dad was as these men had the most familiar presence. 

Unbeknownst to Bella, Lorenzo is on a relentless quest to find someone who has eluded him for years. But fate takes a surprising turn when that person is suddenly eliminated by an unknown assailant. Now, Lorenzo's attention shifts to the next best lead: the man's daughter. Little does he know, this mysterious girl he's searching for is none other than Bella herself.
