Spade Yao was living his best life. His band was doing great, he had great relationships with his friends, and he was a spectacular drummer. But when the lead guitarist asks him out, Spade rejects him. He's then kicked out of the band, upset and mad at himself.
A few weeks later, he sees another band that's looking for a drummer. The band is All Stars, an incredibly popular band led by Alex Golsen.
