A ruthless king with only his brother left and a past full of scars that never truly healed.
And a lonely village boy who snuck into the Maiden's Event, dressed as a maiden because of his sisters desperate need of a cover, as for if she were to not attend even with as sick as she is, the guards of the palace would soon after come searching for her.
But what happens when the king's eyes linger on something he shouldn't want. When his desires get out of hand and jealousy arouses in the other maidens?
What happens when Tomioka Giyuu's true identity of being a male is put on the line of risk when jealousy becomes the fuel of fire in a maiden?
After all the punishment of not only sneaking into the kingdom but also dressing as a woman would be too brutal to think of, but will the king, Sanemi Shinazugawa be able to figure Giyuu out before rumors become twisted and ruin their chances of love?

Giyuu doesn't do well at school, he has long term hypothermia from when he got lost on a mountain in a snowstorm as a kid and left unconscious for weeks, almost freezing to death. Y/N, a lower level demon slayer is caught in a battle with a lower moon. Your team struggled to keep pace, you lost the upper hand quickly. Just as all hope seemed lost the water pillar decapitated the demon. Expressionlessly, the water pillar looks to you. "Can you move?" Giyuu Tomioka never escaped from the clutches of insanity. Being dragged away by relatives of his that were doctors all because he insisted that his sister was slaughtered by demons, it was the truth, but over time as these doctors started to chip away at his mind he was left unsure of any reason demons would exist in a world. These doctors always tormented Giyuu even in his sleep to the point he became an emotionless being. Until he was saved by a woman. For the first time in years Giyuu actually felt something and instead of working on the opposing side of demons, he found himself working for a demon, she was kind and quiet, and almost emotionless in a way, she treated Giyuu like a normal human being but then she was recruited to help people who slayed demons, since she couldn't work in the sunlight, Giyuu was often sent in her stead when test were being ran during the day, there he met some people who were interesting, people's lives that were damaged by demons but they never seemed emotionless like him, it confused him made him wonder if he was always supposed to be like this, if there was a way he could have been different. As he wonders into his thoughts, he runs into someone, someone who looked severely damaged by the hands of demons on the outside but on the inside he seemed put together but a little degraded, he seemed to be intrigued by Giyuu and Giyuu wouldn't admit but he intrigued him. So Giyuu found himself being followed by this person and constantly annoyed by him that for the first time in years he felt emotions.Concluida
