Not everyone gets a second chance at life, and that doesn't exclude bad boy Ashton Mills. After years of running from his problems and past, Ash decides that it's time he faced those dark shadows of his.

Jessica Parker is just the person to help him.

They are pulled together by each others need for peace. Jess is in a war with her anxiety stricken mind and Ash is in a constant battle with the world outside of Jess. Soon, it seems that they need each other to survive the weapons of world and mind.

It isn't until a series of tragedies that either of them begins to lose their war, but Jess takes the hardest hit of them all. She slowly begins to slip-slide into a spiral of depression until she is too far for even Ash to reach.

Not everyone gets a second chance at life.
But that's exactly what Jess gave to Ashton.
And that's exactly what Ash can't give to Jessica.

Just how much is she willing to give for a chance on the soccer team? When Jess Parker realizes she wants to tryout for the boys soccer team, there's only one person who she thinks can help... but it comes with a price that's not going to be easy to pay. Jess Parker is a typical high school nerd she loves to read, doesn't get anything lower than a ninety and is apart of just about every fandom. While most nerds are shy and reserved with a passion Jessica loves her soccer ball with a passion. Ashton Grey is like god at woodrose high, being a total Adonis and leading the soccer team to victory every time. He breaks a different heart every week but there's no surprise that every girl still hopes it's her heart he decides to keep. Well almost every girl.
