For the major areas in Japan, there is one hidden guardian assigned to protect the land and its people, whom the royal family commands. No one knows who they are, but the town has somehow gathered a few truths about them over the years. They're magical, mystical beings planted in the village in secret and will only ever show themselves if danger clouds over the land.
