Darkness and evil are not the same. One twists the very fabric of reality: Evil is twisted, foul, and something there is no hope in controlling. It will destroy you long before you succeed to control it.

But the dark never. It is nor good nor evil. Not understandable and uncontrollable, but a power greater than you can even imagine. It sways it's own with a moral line that is blurred - a rift between good and bad.

The weak will fail to endure its persistence, but the strong will demand its power. Power of an unbalanced and unimaginable origin.

And I just had to go and fall for his darkness.

Life is... different now.

Larkin James is more than pissed, since she knows the truth. Her supposed "love of her life" is not what he seemed and Deshua in Oregon will never be the same. Larkins escape to Vegas hardly dulls the pain of her heart. And yet she had to ignore all of that to ensure the sanity of the one person she, wether or not she liked it, can't live without.

Even though one sicko is dead that doesn't stop the rest of the town wanting their heads on a stake. With her protective fallen angel breathing down her neck, her vision of past lives won't leave her alone. And just because there is an archangel's unearthly pocket knife tucked away in her jacket, certainly doesn't mean the roller coaster of Larkin's life is even close to the end.
