The Dawn of Red

As soon as the tip of Senn's sword got an inch close to The Deathsinger's throat, he froze. Ingressus pulled a face of confusion even though his breathing was still heavy. Slowly but surely, Senn dropped his sword. "Enough of this," he whispered. "Enough of the helpless killing and war that goes nowhere." Ingressus breathing steadied. "I don't forgive you, nor should you forgive yourself. But you deserve a chance at redemption like everyone else." Senn threw his crown to the ground in front of The Deathsinger's feet. "Do whatever good you still have left in you, Ky'Ingressus."
