My hand drags along the nape of her neck, grazing along her pulse as she blinks up at me with a look of surprise.

"Etienne." She utters in the soft and lustrous tone that I only know as hers.

My jaw ticks as I resist the overwhelming desire to entrap her nape in my hand, and bring her soft lips to my own. "Hm?" I hum, peering down at her sitting frame.

I feel her pulse pick up in pace under my grasp as her eyes meet my darker ones, before they flick to her window. "My parents will be home any minute now.. my window." She whispers, her eyes finally meeting my own once again.

I run my tongue along my bottom lip, before my own eyes drag toward the opened window. "Mhm.. it's opened, huh?" I chuckle a bit at the mere irony of my current position.

I see her chin shake with temptation. "Etienne.." She tilts her head while peering up at me.

My hand slips up and grasps her jaw. "Who opened your window, Rowan?" I tilt my head in a almost condescending manner as I look down at her.
