I was sitting on the wooden bench in the courtyard of my school. I rest my chin in the palm of my hand as I admire the boy across the courtyard. He was by far the most handsome jock in the school and  certainly the most popular. Everyone in his group were so engrossed in him, yet they never noticed the few quick glances he would give me. 

In a sad way our story was almost the same as Romeo and Juliet. The Montague's house was the jocks and cheerleaders. The Capulet's house was the band geeks and nerds. 

Except, I wasn't about to die for this boy, and he was not about to die for me.
