Dick Grayson lost every good thing in his life at some point. He couldn't express his happiness for a long period of time as he hoped to. Just when he was on the verge of shutting down himself, he encounters a troubled girl seeking his help. Despite the odds, he did. And couldn't be any more relieved that his life found a purpose for him again. In the form of another mysterious female, who seems unfamiliar yet still feels familiar. Would he be able to fulfill his promise as well as open his heart out before it's too late?

After they both were cured by the doctor they were forced to live with him. While Gar can turn into different animals, Lucas gets affected by the doctor's mystery "Cure" in a different way. While he struggles with the changes to his body he also has to constantly battle to stay in control. Everything changes one day when Gar brings home Rachel Roth and the pair decide that leaving everything behind for a random girl they both just met is better than living in a mansion.
