Spencer Reid, IQ 187, works for the BAU, and is heart-broken after a tragic event shakes the very foundation of his being. He begins to use his lack of social skills as an excuse to do little more than throw himself into books or work. His team, fearing he may collapse into, yet another, drug-abusing situation will try anything to help the youngest of their team. They need a miracle.

Gabriela James, IQ 179, is not a miracle worker. She is a 21 year old convict, ex-foster child and mental patient. Legally, she shouldn't even be here, yet due to a rather interesting turn of events and even more interesting past, she is allowed to be on her own as long as she works for the BAU of Quantico, Virginia.

The two cross paths, but as they get closer to each other, can they find a way to make everything work out happily, or is that saved for the big screen?

**I DO NOT OWN CRIMINAL MINDS OR THE CHARACTERS. GABRIELA JAMES IS MINE AS WELL AS THE CASES IN THIS BOOK**

Lucielle Andrews thought for a good portion of her life, that she knew what her goals were. Graduate. Get married. Have kids. Be a better family than the one she grew up in. With her drug addict of a mother, and her sociopath of a father, her life was no where near easy. She wanted to be the mother her own never was, and marry a better man than her father was. That theory changed when she came home from school to tons of sirens, officers and medics. She was newly fourteen, and very confused as to why she wasn't permitted inside her own home. She never got to enter that house again. She was taken to the police station, and fell asleep in an officer's office chair that night. When she woke, she was told that her father was going away for forever, since he was guilty of six homicides, including that of her mother's. The FBI officers that had been at her house had told her this, and how they were gonna get her stuff and get her to her aunt and uncle, whom she never knew she even had. She was put on a flight to Virginia, and finished growing up there with her aunt and uncle. Once she graduated high school, she knew she wanted to go school for psychology, minoring in criminal justice. Her guardians thought the combination was odd, but she knew exactly what her plan was. Her plan was to catch people like her parents. And be the FBI agent to help out a child who was going through what she had. That's no childhood. Soon enough she'll be on her way to Quantico, but for now, an internship will suffice. -•- NOTE: This book takes place in 2008 around the fifth to sixth season of Criminal Minds. This information is needed for ages and birth dates and a universal understanding of the seasons. Please do not spoil anything for readers pertaining to the physical show. When a certain convict escapes from prison simply due to a lucky chance, the Behavioral Analysis Unit once again finds themselves face to face with a previous foe, one that caused great issue for a particular young genius. The events that ensue threaten to expose one of Doctor Spencer Reid's most deep, hidden secrets. Will all be revealed for his team to judge? Will Spencer finally find peace in a loving relationship? Or will familiar faces triumph in ending the team of profilers once and for all? You'll have to read to find out! Finally, a sequel to a previous Criminal Minds story of mine called Fibonacci! This sequel was a long time coming, and I'm thrilled to finally release it for you all to enjoy. As usual, here are a few disclaimers: I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE ORIGNIAL CRIMINAL MINDS CHARACTERS OR STORYLINE MENTIONED IN THIS STORY! (Some of the plot from the television show has been altered at some points solely for the good of this particular story). I ALSO DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE PICTURES ATOP EACH CHAPTER OR THE PICUTRES THAT I COMPILED TO MAKE THE COVER! (Links will be provided to where I found every picture from as to give appropriate credit to the owners). WHILE THIS STORY IS NOT CURRENTLY RATED MATURE, THERE ARE SOME MENTIONS OF THE FOLLOWING: HOMOSEXUAL RELTIONSHIPS (nothing gets too graphic aside from kissing), FAIRLY MILD DEPICTIONS OF VIOLENCE/BODILY HARM (at some points, there are scenes where someone is getting beat up, but nothing more serious than that), DEPICTIONS OF WEAPONS (guns and things like that that one expects in a story about FBI agents).

There are moments in life that you work so hard for, things your younger self couldn't even imagine you doing... and when those moments arrive, what do you do with them? After joining the Victim Services Branch of the FBI in Quantico, it's been a dream to interact with the BAU and assist a case of theirs. Your lifestyle of late nights and overworking yourself keep you single despite this loneliness you refuse to acknowledge. But when you're constantly reminded of how quickly life can shatter around your feet, leaving you bare and bleeding as you try to put the pieces back together as neatly as you can... only for life to never be the same again, you start to feel it a little more. When the call finally comes, your work pulls you into a case the BAU is tackling, and while it caught you a little off guard, you walk away from the case with something more. Spencer has never shown vulnerability until you came around, and then things changed. From innocent comments to passionate nights, your world shifts as your two souls collide into one. *Disclaimer/Trigger Warning: this story is a work of fiction building off of information gathered from the series Criminal Minds and my own experiences within social service work. This story will contain mature topics such as addiction, mental health, suicide (past tense), trauma, detailed intimacy (idk if I'm qualified to deem this smut, so you be the judge), intercourse, and other topics readers may feel uncomfortable with.
