However, despite that, he had defeated the witch but the squad of knights were eliminated...including the disguised prince. Now he couldn't return and get his rewards lest his head is sent rolling on the red carpets of the Euranasia Empire.
When faced with the turmoil of having to not stay in a country of his liking, the witch Selena offers him a job to escort her to a land faraway where the paranoid people are unable to hunt her. The reward was too good to pass up and wherever they'll travel will ultimately suffice as a place for him to achieve his lifelong goal of a peaceful, carefree life.
Selena notes how he was able to defeat her, a witch who could even fell a Demon Lord without an ounce of mana in him and questions his strength. His response?
