It's like continuous slaps across your face, but instead of walking away, you just keep standing there asking if their hand hurts. Which is exactly what Kayleigh had put herself through for the sake of her own brother's happiness.

Kayleigh confesses her love only for it to fall on deaf ears. The second she turns around she finds her crush in her brother's arms.
