Born as one of Cedrick Dulane's farm-bred humans, Alice has always known her place in the world. She is an animal. Property of the Dulane estate. One permitted to live as long as she is useful to her sibla master and can produce offspring to supply the human meat trade. But when Alice is pushed past her breaking point she has a choice to make. Like the start of any apocalyptic tale - an asteroid was headed towards Earth - but did it actually reach its mark? That's irrelevant, the world's gone potty anyway.
