Tragedy after tragedy leaves Violet Graves to fend for herself in a world where the dead roam free. Violet is no stranger to living in hell but the apocalypse is another beast entirely. After encountering a group of survivors, and a combative redneck with a crossbow, can Violet overcome her issues and open up to this group of strangers in hopes that she will finally be out of grave danger?
This story follows the events of the show, however there will be some minor and major changes.
I don't own TWD characters or the plot. I also don't own some of the lines scattered throughout the story that are referenced from some shows and movies I love. The only things I own are the original characters I created and the changes I made to the plot.

Violet is a 22 year old girl she doesn't have any family left atleast she doesn't think since she hadn't seen her two sisters in years she lives alone in Atlanta. One day as she is coming home from her job and she get's caught up in the beginning of the apocalypse, separated from anyone she knows she makes it to a small town outside of the city, hurt, lost and broken she meets Maggie Greene who grows to love, and protect the girl. Story starts right after the incident at Hershel's barn but does not follow the story line of the show after that. The main character is a young woman named Nora who at first has developed feelings for Glenn after he was the one who helped get her out of the city. When she realizes she's held on to her feelings too long, she quickly starts to feel lost. Nora is somewhat of a trouble magnet but most of all she just wants to find her place in this new world. Along the way, she finds comfort in an unlikely person. (I do not own the original art for the cover) {I started this story back in December 2011 on Tumblr and although it didn't get the fan following that I had always hoped for, it did well in it's own way. It had loyal followers and I got comments on how much readers loved it. I thought I would try posting it on Wattpad to see what becomes of it. The story is completed on Tumblr and as I bring it over here, I'm also doing small rewrites to the story. There are scenes that I needed to cut out and change up just because my view of things has changed as well and I wanted this story to reflect that.
