A hand clasped over my mouth, my eyes widening. Eric put his finger to his lips.

Dakota nodded and covered her mouth, tears filling her eyes. I looked at Eric next to me, whose eyes were transfixed on the creature wreaking havoc.

My breath quivered and I felt Eric's hand press tighter against my face. He then quickly shielded me as debris fell all around the room.

The creature then made its way out of the building. Eric slowly removed his hand from my mouth. "We need to get out of here." He whispered.

I nodded, the three of us standing up and sneaking upstairs. Dakota looked up at him. "Thanks, Eric." A half smile appeared on his face and he said "you're welcome, Kota."

A story in which aliens with superhuman hearing invade Earth. And Eric falls for the girl he saved in the candy shop.

She gasped and used the little strength she had left to turn around and look at the man, but certainly not a human one. Muscles rippled across every part of his toned body, nearly seven feet tall in height. His left arm, shoulder blade, and part of his rib cage were scattered with reptilian-like scales that almost appeared like diamonds that glistened in the sunlight. He had thick, pure white hair tied in a braid that laid across his muscular bare back, ending at his hips. He had prominent cheekbones and a well-defined chin and jaw. Beneath his brows, his lavender eyes were as direct as expected, not even blinking as much as the average person. Unfortunately, his haunting eyes landed on the small human, seemingly examining her shaking figure closely. His lips curved into a grin, revealing his dangerously sharp teeth. Realization dawned on her, he was going to eat her. Little did she know, he was actually going to marry her. • snippet • She pulled out of his hold and took a step back. "You want to use me." She rasped. His lavender eyes widened and he took a step towards her, making her take two back. "No, that's not-" Her chest heaved as her worst fear was coming to the light. "That's why you've been trying to win me over. You wanted to- to impregnate me! And... And now I'm here, naked in the water with you!" She snapped, hot tears gathering in her eyes. "Holy shit, I'm naked with you." She exasperated, like she just now realized what she's done. She's never felt more exposed and terrified in her life. She was completely vulnerable to him in that moment. He could pounce on her in a split second, have his was with her, and she wouldn't be able to stop him. There it was again. The sheer terror in her eyes, and it was directed at him. Nothing hurt him more than that. • Highest rankings: #1 fiction #1 young adult #1 alien love #1 area 51 #1 stockholm syndrome #1 dark #1 arranged marriage #2 mates #2 wedding #3 alien #3 king

She felt like Cinderella, unconsciously listening to an imaginary clock tick with each passing second. Time was of the essence, but she was completely out. She had enough. Justine raised from her seat and faced him, glaring daggers into his fearful irises as she raised her powerful voice. "I didn't think you were that foolish, Dax. You should be out, trying to live again, trying to find why you were given a second chance! Most people don't even get a single one to begin with!" He got up as well, countering her radiance with his. She continued to speak, her breath coming out as cold vapor in the frigid night. "You're wasting it!" she screamed. "You're selfish! Don't you care how it'll affect others? Those who love you?" "Everyone already thinks I'm dead!" Dax butted in, but she didn't let him stop her with a puny excuse. "What about me, huh? Don't you care about how I feel? You're my best friend! And the first time I lost you was hard enough. This time, it's different. There's new feelings that I've recently sorted out," her voice grew increasingly indecisive and conflicted as she spoke on, her eyes wavering. Then she looked at him with such devotion; her robust glare penetrated his soul. "You should be roaming the world, searching for the one thing that could save you! Death is permanent. You should be out finding that purpose, Dax, not here like an idiot staring at some silly girl who thinks a ghost may love her back!" Tears drenched her face, her eyes puffy and red, but mighty and high. He stepped closer, his flickering form barely touching her very real, live one. They bore into each other's eyes, feeding off the other's presence. Still, he refused to open his mouth and respond. "You should be finding that one thing that makes you happy," she whispered, now unable to peer up into his glowing black eyes. He bent down, his mouth just a centimeter away from her ear as he breathed, "What if I've already found it?"

"The fuck you are leaving me." He snapped and growled at his mate. She was calm as she was ever be regardless of his snapping. She sighed and turned around to leave without saying something to him because it was worthless. There was no point in talking and especially to him. He grabbed her arm before she put one step. "Where do you think you are going Ara?" He growled so loudly as everyone shuddered watching their interaction. She quickly remove his hand as anger rolling off of her in waves. "Don't. Touch. Me. So you think I will live here and watch you mate and breed that female." She snapped at him. "She meant nothing Ara." He said after a minute. She laughed, literally laughed but without any humor. "That's why you were fucking her in your office just a minutes before, don't you?" "It was a mistake." He tried to reason with her. "But in your case mistakes happened in more than one time. And they said mistakes happened only one time." She said sarcastically. "I don't need her. I need you." He said again desperately. "Lies. All lies coming from your mouth. I feel disgusted just by looking at you, let alone talking to you. And you said you need me? Ha. Very funny. You don't need me and I sure as hell don't need you. This female behind your back is more enough than me. Breed her, mark her or fuck her. I DON'T FUCKING CARE." "I am sorry. I am really fucking sorry." He said brokenly as kneeling on the ground. A small laugh escaped from her lips. "Isn't it too late for that mate?" And she left just like that while single tear rolled down her cheeks. He had made mistakes. Mistakes that will cost him everything. He knew he had lost her and this time completely. She was broken. Again. He did break her, repair her just to break her again leaving a broken shattered woman but strong willed. ---------------------------------------------------- The cruel, sadistic Rogue Alpha and his caring, lovable Witch mate. *!!WARNING!!* (Blood, gore, and strong language) "Jane slowly walked down the hall, the wind hissing in her ears. Her footsteps echoed down the empty rooms, the old building seeming to shake with each step. Then she heard it. It was quiet at first, then it became louder as she neared an open door. She set her hand on the door and peeked in and froze in fear of what she saw. There, crouched in a corner, was what looked like a man, a bloody arm in his hands. She quickly moved as the man turned his head quickly, yellow eyes glowing in the dark. Jane sprinted as fast as she could, and heard the creature coming after her. She threw and knocked over as much as possible, until she reached the stairs. She didn't even hesitate to jump over the railings. She landed and stopped to catch her breath. By the sound of it, the creature wasn't following her anymore. She sighed and turned back towards the door. The hand grabbed her throat, lifting her off the ground. Jane clawed as the creature came out of the shadows, blood dripping from sharp, jagged, teeth protruding from its mouth. Saliva dripped from the creatures lip, dripping into its frilled neck piece of its clothes. 'You're not getting away that easily...' It hissed as it smiled, revealing rows of the jagged teeth. Jane gasped for air as the creatures grip tightened. Soon, her vision faded to black... and she passed out."
