Amaru Mitchell is an ATL detective who's devoted his time to investigate and solve crimes to create a better foundation for his community. He's recently been assigned a homicide case but this one is different from all the others. This one hits closer to home.     Nay'Mari, or Poo as he knew her, and Amaru haven't talked since they were 16 but Amaru has always had her in the back of his mind so this case challenges him in more ways than one. Amaru soon starts having dreams of Nay'Mari, bringing up old memories, feelings, and words went unsaid. Are these dreams just Amaru's way of coping with the loss of his beloved friend or will they reveal something deeper about what happened to Nay'Mari?
