After three years together, Offroad walked away, leaving Daou a broken piece. But Offroad came back-persistent, familiar, and saying all the things Daou once longed to hear. But something is different. There's a weight in his gaze, a hesitation in his touch, as if he's chasing time he won't acknowledge.
