Her world changes when a catastrophic battle results in the brutal murder of one of Kunross' beloved A-level Heroes-their life stolen by an unknown individual with the ability to summon fire in an instant. With their destructive power, and the rise of a new crime syndicate, panic grips the city and the Heroes have no choice but to fight. When Daija is recruited by Ian Davidson-the most powerful A-level Hero and next in line to lead-she uses the opportunity to explore what the Association hides from the public's eyes. She hopes to find anything related to her missing father, but if she's not careful, the path she's on will lead her to a fiery demise.
