Introduction In March 2013, following the completion of From Within The Shadow, I reached the point of feeling and being like I'd found my way out from within the shadow. With each step it felt like I was opening like a flower: Blossoming, growing stronger, taller, daily. Pushing outwards, the seeds, to attract the honey bee, like a chest being puffed out. Petals like eyes, seeing the world, feeling the wind, the sun, the rain. Dancing, strutting, feeling a part of the world, stretching outwards to reach my full potential. Out From Within the Shadow I now stand out from within the shadow tall, upright and in full glow behind me now is where it is only to visit as I reminisce. Sweeter memories can now be found as all the tangles have been unwound and freedom is now the path for me and with my new eyes the world I see. This compilation of natural poems is a tribute to infinite elements of Mother Nature in its most glorious form. Each poetic stanza brings out the eternal beauty of the 'Natural Habitat' and proves time and again, that wildlife and nature are the two most quintessential parts of Gods celestial earth. The more Man devastates his own environment to quench his cannibalistic desire, the more he treads on the path to ultimate ruination. Be it an inconspicuous mosquito/leaf/seed or a gigantic human form/tree- by killing either you're committing the greatest sin, because for the Creator every form of life-whether tiny or Herculean is pricelessly equal. One effusively brilliant poem after another, Parekh creates awareness in our burgeoning youth to conserve and protect untamed Environment/Wildlife. The poet exhorts everyone to be blessed with every richness of this planet by letting Nature and Wildlife spawn, just the way it did when the Lord had created this earth millions of years ago. This book aims at disseminating the message of environment and wildlife conservation in each of its verse which are interwoven with the splendor and sparkle of God's bountiful chapters of creation. Whilst unceasingly describing the naturally panoramic beauty of this Universe-the poems within urge the innocent child in each one of us to come forward, help save the environment. She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order. Your ears are ringing, echoing in your brain, and everything hurts so badly. Your vision is going blurry as you try to fight back the tears, and you're wondering why you even try anymore. At one point or another, most of us have experienced the feeling of worthlessness, shame, or guilt. We feel like we're at rock bottom, and it seems like nothing will ever get any better no matter how hard we try. One thing we do know for sure, though, is that where there is dark, there is bound to be light, no matter how small that speck may be. There's always hope, no matter how far out of reach it may seem. There's always light in the dark. TW/CW: mentions of anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts. "I know that even when things seem dark and at rock bottom, there's always hope. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel. As small as that little shaft of light may seem, it's not out of reach." - something a friend of mine once told me All of the poems in this book have been written by me. Completed on August 22, 2020
