This book is an ongoing rough draft! Amidst Christopher Astor's attempts to navigate his life and find satisfaction during his senior year of high school, he unexpectedly encounters two challenges. Firstly, his father insists that he inherit the family company, burdening him with considerable responsibility. Secondly, his hockey coach benches him from the team due to his lack of teamwork and a negative attitude. As fate would have it, the figure skating team joins their practice sessions temporarily while their own rink is under repair. It is during this time that Christopher develops an unexpected connection-a blossoming romance. Carlos Martinez, known for his friendly nature, not only offers his assistance to Christopher in improving his form and teamwork but also discovers a shared chemistry and connection. As they work together to overcome their respective challenges, their relationship deepens, transforming their lives in ways they never could have anticipated.

Matthew Chandlers is the captain of his school's hockey team, whose dad just happened to be the coach of. But if you ask Matt he'll tell you, his dad being the coach is far from the reason why he's on the team or why he's captain. He's captain because he's a kick-ass hockey player who may just have a future in the NHL if he keeps his game on the top. But that may be a problem seeing as he's sliding through school with a 2.3 average and is failing French. A lesson his mother just happens to teach. Forced to either retire his skates up for the rest of the season or get a tutor his parents agreed on one person. Bring in, Henry Oswald. Matthew's neighbor and ex-best friend from childhood who has a 4.0 grade average in every subject. Henry and Matt are awkward at first because of something that happens in the past that pulled them apart. But with every lesson together the two seem to form the bond they once lost. But will Matthew ever get over his fears of the unknown, or will this friendship fall again harder than ever before? Cover made by my amazing friend @saintc
