Tatsumi, along with the rest of Night Raid, saved the empire, but at a great cost. However, what if our incursio-wielding protagonist never wielded incursio? What if he gained a different power? What if he had a different story all together? One where he had the strength and wits to win without sacrifice. To bring an end to the war and corruption without needless death. To be the Reaper in the Wind. 

This is an AU, so not everything will match with the story and new outside elements will be added; but not a lot. It will mostly only affect Tatsumi.
