Sixteen-year-old Dallas McCasey lived on a farm her whole life, taking care of her father. she was the 'adult' of her household, in a good way- her father had been paralyzed after a rodeo incident eight years ago. she's happy in her little 100-acre corner of the world.
But that all changes when she encounters the immortal incarnation of nature, Fauna. The spirit tells her that she's special, that Dallas has a connection to nature like no other. that same day, a few of the world's mightiest heroes crash-land in her cornfield.
