Amanda has lived a normal life, a happy one too. Even though her father died when she was 10, she still considers herself happy. On night, a week before her 16th birthday, she has a dream, and her dead father is there. He warns her about something, but she just doesn't understand.

Amanda learns the next day that her father was a prophet, and she is too. Her mother and best friend Carly take her to some magical land. Amanda realizes she can find out what really happened to her father. So she does, while also trying to save her world and the next one over.
