He smiled which caused me to blush uncontrollably. He grabbed me in a hug which I didn't want to respond to but did. Eventually I had to let go. "I can't do this with you *****, I'm not the type of girl you want to be with," I said trying to get out of his grasp but couldn't. He holds me too tight for me to escape. I tried to back up but he instead pulled me closer with his arms that were already behind my back as my hands stay stationary in front of his chest giving me distance and support. "*****, let me go." All parts of a strong willed family that needs to stay together no matter what. To pass the torch down to the next generations was a jump but when you trust and care it will get easier. This was never meant to be my life. My life had been decided when I was 14. But 20 years later, it was completely undecided by circumstances I had less than no control over. So at 34, I started over, hesitantly. *Note 1: Both the narrator and "He" remain unnamed. "He" is based on an actual actor (some major fantasy-fulfillment happening here), but I wanted to leave the character open to reader interpretation rather than limit the scope of the story or the reader appeal. *Note 2: For now, this is going to be more an anthology of connected one-shots that exist within the same universe; they may or may not follow chronological order. You just moved to a new house that's few blocks away from Harper's house and you meet them but one of them caught your eye so you starting to get feelings with him but your an overthinking person after your last relationship was horrible but would he be a good person for you. You also have really good connections with your mom and your siblings but you didn't have a good connection with your dad since he used to treat your mom pretty bad ever since he got a new job, he barely came home and never made time for you at all. Then left you after what you saw him do but you chose to forget it and never see him again. I have fix some stuff on some of the chapters that I didn't like.
