Ashley is a very unique girl with very tough issues in her life. Everyday she has to battle depression. And most of all the voices in her head. The voices keep trying to pull her into the good life. The good life not in this world. She was abused ever since she was a baby, until she was adopted by a single father at the age of 6. She was always too afraid to tell her dad what she felt, so she stayed in her room and slowly suffered through every day, trying to get through. One day the voices finally took over, and Ashley was sent to a hospital for a very long time, luckily surviving the event that almost took her life away from her. But one thing always helped her NOT to let the voices get her away. It was music. Music was the only thing that could quite the voices. It was like they were scared of it or something. She listened to music everyday, and kept close to it. Three Days Grace was the band that truly helped her through the tough times, out of ALL of the rock bands she listened to. Haunted by the mantra "I'm nobody," I echoed these words in my mind, feeling as though my entire existence revolved around catering to the happiness of others. Despite having friends, a constant undercurrent of self-doubt lingered, as if I were an anchor holding them back. In the shadow of my brother Adam's fame with the renowned band Three Days Grace, I was the family's black sheep, an outcast in our town. My academic prowess and hardworking nature seemed to count for naught, dismissed by my father as failure. Even my past relationship revealed a cruel truth - I was a mere experiment for my ex-boyfriend's infidelity. While my brother Adam basked in the heroics of our town, I felt cast aside, deemed a potential threat to other teens and shunned like a contagious disease. Despite my pleas for help falling on deaf ears for years, my existence seemed insignificant, unnoticed. Will Neil be able to save three days grace before the world turns their back on them? Neil and the other members navigate their way through deception, happiness, and depressing times. Who can they trust? How can they avoid the masterminds plot? Sydney didn't have much, but that was fine with her. She didn't need much. Growing up on the Washington coast in a lonely beach town, working quietly behind the scenes was what she was good at. Living on the beach was much less glamorous than most people imagine. Her home was a beat up old Winnebago that she had shared with her father until he passed. Her father had been a detached parent. He loved his daughter of course, but he was by no means an affectionate man. She had grown up fending for herself, working backstage at a bar that hosted live bands using a fake ID. After the death of her father she saw an ad for a guitar technician for a local Seattle band. A love of rock and roll had been the one thing that her and her dad had in common. Selling everything that she didn't need she packed up her pickup truck and travelled north to the city, leaving the sleepy town in her rear view mirror. She didn't expect to embark on what would become the adventure of a lifetime. For someone who had hardly left the town she grew up in, the opportunity to get paid to travel the country and listen to great music was a dream come true. The band became her family, and life on the road was a perfect fit for her. Chris Cornell instantly became Sydney's best friend in the whole world. They were in love, that was plain as day to anyone who paid attention. Yet, sometimes love isn't as simple as it should be. Sometimes, love hurts.
